The Grand Tour Orangutan Page got removed!

The Grand Tour Orangutan original page was removed or (just disappeared with out a clue) yesterday. Facebook  gave me no warnings or notice prior to removing the page. I am gutted as I worked hard on that page sharing clips and photos of the trio from Top Gear days and I just started sharing some video clips The Grand Tour.

Last night however, I did get a notice on Facebook claiming that they removed a video on my page that was actually the opening scene of The Grand Tour. Amazon Video filed a copyright against me. Funnily enough, they removed my page before giving me the actual notice regarding the copyright infringement.

I made this page back when we were waiting for trio's new show. I used to upload short video clips from Top Gear, and not once I was given any copyright infringement notice. Thinking it will be the same with The Grand Tour, i continued sharing clips and videos not knowing that they will cost me this much.

I decided not to dwell on the loss that much and to start a new page, with the same name. It will take another few months to reach that amount of likes but I'm pretty sure we will restart the community.
Before Facebook blocked me out of my current page after issuing me a delayed notice regarding the copyright infringement that I happened to commit on the original page, I decided to upload video clips from The Grand Tour  again on the current page.

This is what I am doing next:

1. Deleting those videos from my current page so as to prevent this whole ordeal from happening again.

 2. I will create another page(and I will link it here), where I will only post videos from The Grand Tour. Those videos will be shared on The Grand Tour Orangutan page.

3. If Facebook decides to act funny and bring down that page, The Grand Tour Orangutan page will be fine.

So this is what I am planning on doing. I really want to share short, funny clips from the show and I think people enjoy them as much as I do. However, one thing I have noticed after this whole ordeal is that Amazon is quite strict in terms of copyright stuff. A lot more than BBC.

Please like 'The Grand Tour Orangutan' page, it's currently got around 250 likes, let's make it to 1,000 today! Share the page.

I will be back updating all of you guys on Friday afternoon (UK time), once Facebook lift this ban.

How to watch The Grand Tour where Amazon Prime is not available

The Grand Tour is launching this Friday and I seriously can't wait. For those who live in those countries where Amazon Prime is not available, well today I am going to show you how you can watch The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime.

You can either sign up for the 30 days free trial and pay the full Amazon Prime subscription fees and then rely on VPN to do most of the stuff. (which works great)
First let's talk about how to get the free trial.

Step 1: Head over to Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk
Step 2: Click "Try Prime"
Step 3: It will take you to the log in screen. Log in
Step 4: It will ask you for your credit card. Give your credit card info. They won't charge you, however, they will keep it in for 1 month after which they will charge you.
Step 5: If you don't have credit card and you want to make sure you do everything for free, head over to this website on your iOS/Android device called FreeMyApps.
When you open it up, set it up by just following the instructions on screen. With Freemyapps, you get the ability of downloading free apps and making points with it. For eg, it will show you iOS or Android apps, that you can download for free and each app will have credit points written right next to them. Once you download the app, you run it for 30 seconds after which you get points.
You can use these points to purchase Visa cards or Amazon Gift card etc.

You can use the visa card as a debt card and give Amazon this card number as well. This visa card is for $10, and Amazon Prime costs $8.99, so you have an extra month that you can watch as well. :)

Or you can simply use your main credit card and pay Amazon Prime on a monthly basis.

Step 6:
The only issue however is that since Amazon Prime is not available in your country,  so all the shows are with geographical restricted, so that people outside USA,UK,Germany and few other countries can't watch Amazon Prime content.

A simple way to bypass this issue is by using a VPN. Any VPN service works, however there are some that works faster than other. Personally, I really do enjoy Tunnelbear. You get 500 MB free for one month, however you can upgrade to unlimited as well.

Make sure you set Tunnelbear VPN to either USA or UK depending which Amazon Prime you signed up for. That's it, you are all set.

The Grand Tour is just three days away. Here is how to prepare:

We all enjoy Fridays, mainly because it's the start of the weekend. However, this Friday will be even more unique. This Friday, the trio's new show The Grand Tour is launching and the first episode will be available for streaming on Amazon Prime. For those who are in United Kingdom or in those countries where Amazon Prime is available, I suggest you start preparing for this show.

Here is what you need:

1. Amazon Firestick:

I small device that connects to your TV using the HDMI adapter and gives you the option of streaming movies, TV shows and music. It costs just $40. So grab it and get ready!
Use this link to order your Firestick: Amazon Fire TV Stick

2. Amazon Prime streaming subscription:

For those who are in UK, make sure you avail this offer. Amazon Prime UK is handing over full one year of Amazon Prime for just £59. The offer ends on 18th November 2016. So go ahead and get Amazon Prime now. Here is the link to the offer (UK Only)

For those who do not live in a country where Amazon prime is available. Well, I might just start uploading episodes of Amazon Prime as they come on this website. Hang Tight.
